Search for locations by an approximate raw location string, a city name, or a city and state combination.
Use this endpoint to standardize free-text input to a specific US location. The endpoint accepts raw location string and returns the city, county, state and metropolitan statistical area (MSA) of the location. For county, state, and MSA, the endpoint also returns the federal identification code (FIPS).
