Use this endpoint to provide candidate evaluations to hiring managers or recruiters. This endpoint accepts one or more candidates and a single job and returns matches for each pair. A match consists of a match score assessing the fit between a candidate and the job and a skills report which identifies skill overlaps and skill gaps.

Additional Notes:

  • Feedback Collection: Evaluate Candidates Feedback can be used to collect and share user feedback on the results of this endpoint.
  • Empty Skills Report: In rare cases, the returned evaluation may not list any skill overlaps or gaps in the skills report. We suggest presenting users with the following error message when this occurs: We were unable to complete a skills analysis for this application. This is usually related to difficulty analyzing skills related to the specific job title, and does not indicate a problem with the match score.
  • Dates: If both are populated within an object, start_date cannot be after end_date.
  • ID Uniqueness: If the same candidate ID-job ID combination is used for multiple submissions, AdeptID will not be able to attribute Job Application Events to the correct application.
