Use this endpoint to gather metadata about the occupation such as occupation name, alternative titles, description, career cluster, volume of supply and demand, demographics of people employed, and typical salaries. The endpoint expects an occupation code as input; use Occupation Classification to find the relevant code based on a job title. Commonly, data from this endpoint is used to augment the results of Recommend Destination Occupations and Recommend Source Occupations. Navigate to the occupation schema for additional details about the format and sources of the metadata returned.
