AdeptID customers can now access the Match Narrative endpoint, a powerful new feature that harnesses natural language and generative AI to revolutionize how talent organizations and job seekers understand candidate-job fit. This endpoint delivers a concise, 4-5 sentence natural language summary, empowering users to quickly interpret AdeptID’s evaluation of a Candidate's alignment with a Job. This dramatically streamlines hiring and job search processes, providing instant clarity and actionable insights.

Each narrative highlights the core drivers of a Match score, including skills, work history, and education. It provides concrete examples, citing relevant work experience, key skills and certifications, degree relevance, and other supporting details. With expanded language support, these narratives can support an international user base.

AdeptID uses a Large Language Model (LLM) to generate these narratives. Crucially, the LLM is exclusively used to explain the results of AdeptID’s rigorously audited, model-based evaluations - it never performs the evaluation itself. This unique approach combines the explainability of generative AI with the reliability and fairness of established talent matching models.

Why did we do this work?

Talent organizations and job seekers consistently ask for clear, written explanations of candidate-job matches, while avoiding the unpredictability and potential biases LLMs can introduce if used for core evaluations. AdeptID’s approach directly addresses these concerns. It blends the fairness, control, and auditability of proprietary talent matching models with the advanced language generation capabilities of commercial LLMs. This ensures every narrative is firmly grounded in quantitative model outputs, providing accurate, transparent, and trustworthy explanations.
