2026.03: Updated match reports, improved career recommendations, data subject deletion requests
AdeptID’s March 2026 release makes updates to the match report to increase interpretability, improves the quality of career recommendations, and introduces a new endpoint to support compliance with data privacy regulations.
Updated match reports
What changed
More explainable attribute scores: The computation of match report attribute scores for work history, skills, and education is updated to better align attribute scores and the overall match score. User feedback indicated that the attribute scores and match score were out of alignment in some (rare) scenarios; this release mitigates those scenarios.
Removal of old skill overlaps and gaps report: Previous versions of evaluate-candidates, evaluate-jobs, job-search, and candidate-search returned two versions of a "Skills Report" with each match:
- The original report, organized into skill overlaps and gaps.
- The new report (released in April 2025), organized into baseline and technical skills.
The aforementioned endpoints will no longer return the old skill overlaps and gaps report.
More interpretable low scores: The computation of match scores is updated to be more interpretable for low-scoring matches. The lowest-scoring matches would previously receive scores in the single digits (e.g., 4/100). While some matches will still be scored this low, most in the “Low” match score category will now be scored between 40/100 and 70/100, which user feedback suggested was a more intuitive range.

Data subject deletion requests
What changed
A new endpoint to support AdeptID customers in fulfilling data subject access requests (DSARs) required by various data protection regulations. AdeptID customers can use this endpoint to request the deletion of a specific candidate profile from AdeptID’s systems by providing the candidate_id and, when applicable, organization_id associated with the data. Within 90 days of receiving a valid request, AdeptID deletes all stored data associated with the specified candidate, including candidate profile data, associated outcomes records, and any API transaction log entries.
