Match Report Updates

AdeptID has released an updated Match Report to provide a more consistent and understandable match explanation for each job. This new report replaces and improves upon the pre-existing "skills report" which showed a candidate's most significant skill gaps/overlaps.
The new Match Report offers a more expansive evaluation and explanation of the fit between a candidate and a job. New features of our Match Report include:
- Attribute scores for work history, skills, and education
- A skills section detailing the candidate's competency for the job's key technical and baseline skills
- An education section detailing whether the candidate meets the job's education requirements
- A certifications section* detailing whether the candidate meets the job's education requirements
- A match narrative explanation* of the match assessment
*Certifications section and match narrative are currently in beta and are currently not included in the standard Match Report. General Availability is anticipated in Q3 '25.
Why did we do this work?
We wanted to bring more consistency and explainability to our matches. The Match Report should demonstrate the 'thinking' behind the match model results and provide a justification to hiring managers. This means we need the Match Report to better:
- Summarize the match in plain English, similar to how a recruiter would pitch a candidate to a hiring manager
- Show the extent to which the candidate has the skills needed to be successful in the role
- Show whether the candidate meets education and credential requirements for the role
Bottom Line:
The new Match Report is a significant upgrade to our previous "skills report" as it provides more supporting and explanatory details of the fit between a candidate and job

Updated Match Report Details and UX Examples:
- Attribute Scores
To better explain the overall match assessment to end users, the match score is segmented into attributes that assess the candidate's fit based on skills, work experience, and education.

The skills section showcases the candidate's competence for the job's key technical and baseline skills. AdeptID identifies the most important skills for the jobs based on AdeptID's advanced skill inference models trained on hundreds of millions of job postings as well as the specifics listed in the job description. AdeptID's advanced skill inference models predict what skills are required based on the job title and other attested skills.
